I wanted to post my cycle because it breaks a lot of the trends you see on this website. It can be intimidating when all of your friends get interviews before you... and then get a bunch of acceptances before you, but patience will get you through this ordeal. Also, don't look for crazy trends, I thought my stream of waitlists/rejections meant that I could never get into a school, let alone an amazing one.

Used this as a sort of safety school, like almost every applicant (they receive more applications than every other medical school I think). I guess my lack of enthusiasm came through in my secondary.

Amazing school. Seems to have really interesting and talkative students. I saw some people complaining that there are a lot of Ivy grads there but this was not my experience at all. Seemed like a pretty diverse class and a fun group of students.

Probably the prettiest school I have been to and Portland is great (cheap and full of interesting people). They are changing their curriculum a lot which means this class will be guinea pigs. It looks like they are going to do ABCDF grading for all 4 years, which is a major drawback.

I applied to this school on a whim (stats matched pretty well) so the interview invite was unexpected. During my interview it became pretty clear that this school was not a good fit for me. Maybe it was just west coast/east coast cultural differences but I did not click with the school, students or most of the interviewees. Rejected in January, the feeling is mutual.

Amazing clinic and medical school. Each student gets a lot of attention and can get a very individualized education. Beautiful facilities and top notch professors

I dont think USC waitlists that many people, so their decision was definitely a blow. LA County hospital is incredible and the students are super easy to get along with. Seems like a great medical school

Pretty chill school. Students seemed laid-back and friendly. The tuition is crazy, especially when you consider the cost of living in Boston. I am also not a huge fan of the one-building school. Apparently you just take an elevator between all of your classes and never have to go outside (might be nice when it is cold). This seemed like a friendly medical school but honestly nothing really stood out to me, except the tuition.

Would never have predicted this. Complete dream school. I thought my getting waitlisted or rejected at the lower tier schools made this an impossible school to reach. Everything about this place is perfect.
