Update 7/11/14 - Though I received secondaries from Florida Atlantic University (7/7/14) and Florida State University (7/9/14) I have decided not to complete them and apply.

Update 7/17/14 - I finally received a secondary from Vanderbilt! It took me 17 days after they first released them but I'm grateful. For those who don't know, Vandy is quite picky about who they send secondaries to.

Update 7/28/14 - First interview invite!!!!!!! I am beyond happy!! NYU!!!! God I hope this isn't a dream...

Update 8/12/14 - Second interview Invite!! Albert Einstein college of medicine!!! Third interview a few hours later UMiami!!

Update 8/15/14 - Mount Sinai interview invite!! Words cannot describe what I feel right now. This is one of my top choices... I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Update 8/21/14 - Duke Interview Invite!! Speechless....

Update 8/29/14 - Columbia Interview Invite!! This is my top choice and it is a dream come true for me. This is unreal!! There's a good chance I may become a NY Knicks fan after this cycle lol.

Update 9/5/14 - California Loveeeeeeeee! USC Interview invite! Had a long day, I didn't even notice I was invited. Perfect ending to a horrible evening. I'm so excited and thankful.

Update 9/8/14 - UCSF Interview invite. Not going to lie... I almost got sentimental over this one. I wasn't even going to apply here really until a fellow SDN'er gave me the confidence to try my luck. I am so honored to be given a chance here.

Update 9/12/14 - Vandy Interview invite!! I can't even believe it.... Let's gooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update 9/23/14 - Emory Interview Invite!! Amazing school... I cannot wait to interview here!

Update 9/24/14 - The biggest shock of the season thus far... Harvard Interview Invite??!!!!!!! Never saw it coming... While I believe in my own academic abilities, Harvard usually targets Super Rock stars. People with PhD's already, Olympic medals, and students who have published in major journals and have authored textbooks.... I'm just No Limits... I like cookies. Ha! Will definitely seize the opportunity though.

Update 10/13/14 - UPenn Interview invite!!! Whooaa.... blown away. This is bitter sweet because I'm super excited but I'm running low on money. I realize this is an incredible opportunity and I will do my best to make it to this interview. Even if I have to walk there.

Update 11/12/14 - AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! ACCEPTED TO MOUNT SINAI!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Honestly, this acceptance made my year.

Update 11/18/14 - USC Acceptance and UF Acceptance!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!! These are both really amazing chill schools, I am super thrilled and honored. This is my chance to runaway to California and become a star lol. (Haha just teasing).

Update 3/12/14 - Wow I haven't updated this since November... Now that this cycle is drawing to an end I will begin writing more so that this profile will be able to help others the same way other profiles have helped me. Also, UPenn acceptance today!!

Update 3/21/14 - Okay, so as you guys know I received interview invites from Yale and UCSF. I unfortunately was never was able to attend because I just didn’t have enough money to afford the trips. In hindsight, I could have done a better a job scheduling interviews so that I could have saved more money but what’s done is done. I was waitlisted at Miami…Surprise surprise! It was my first interview and it didn’t go as well as I wanted it to. Great school but I guess I just didn’t fit, oh well… I was later accepted to Emory (November 25th ), NYU (December 11th), and Albert Einstein (February 3rd ). On February 11th I got into one of my top choices Columbia!! I’m still super excited about this by the way! Then I got waitlisted at Vanderbilt on February 24th. I was slightly bummed about this because it seemed everyone who got accepted that day received a massive scholarship with their acceptance… I’m broke… That scholly would have been nice haha. It’s all good because two days later I was fortunate enough to get into another top choice, Duke!! Cue corny 80’s song “I’m walking on sunshine….” I got waitlisted at Harvard March 3rd and wasn’t even upset. It would have been awesome to get in but I consider it an accomplishment to make it this far. It’s been one hell of a journey for me and I am just grateful to have interviewed. Maybe we’ll meet again for residency, who knows? And lastly, as you already know from my last update, I was accepted to UPenn on March 12th. I wasn't really expecting to get in but here I am and I couldn’t be happier.

Update 4/27/2015 - The final 5... it's all come down to this.....NYU vs Duke vs Columbia vs Penn vs Sinai. Honestly, these are the schools I enjoyed the most and I am having the hardest time picking which one to go to. They all have everything I want and I know I can truly be happy at any of them. I went into this cycle with Duke and Columbia being my super top choices. I never expected to get love at Penn... Even when I interviewed there, I never actually imagined getting in. Didn't consider it a possibility once. While I was humbled to get an interview, I compare that experience to test driving a car I could never afford. It drives great... has all the bells and whistles... but deep down you know it's not going to happen. But----- then it did happen... Not sure how... I have this theory they meant to accept someone else with my exact same name who isn't addicted to cookies like me haha. With only a couple days to decide I'm leaning towards to Duke and Penn at the moment. I still love Columbia but it's just the most expensive choice for me right now. And as I've mentioned to you all before, I'm so poor homeless people volunteer at my house around the holidays. Not sure it's wise to pass up on my other choices to take on that extra debt from Columbia.

Update 4/27/15 - *Second Update* - So I get a lot of messages asking about my cycle and the most commonly asked question is “No Limits, why didn't you borrow money from a friend or family member to go on your other interviews? How can you pass them up?” The answer is simple. I'm too proud. My pride would never allow me to do something like that. I guess to some, that might make me foolish. It's not that I'm afraid to ask for help it's just I have this thing about money. In any case, I don't come from a well off family so even if I did ask, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be able to help. Nevertheless, I am pretty happy with how the cycle played out regardless.

Update 4/28/15 - Just withdrew from Columbia.... **sigh** moment of silence please. For future applicants, this school has everything. I absolutely love the school.... just couldn't afford it.
