Brief Profile: Figured that I should document my journey in some form or fashion. Trusting God throughout this entire process because I know, at the end of the day, I'll end up where I am supposed to be.

So far, this cycle has been a true journey. My first MCAT score, though average-ish, isn't where I want it to be so I'm hoping to retake end of August/early September. This will make my application somewhat late- but I think that overall I have a unique story, strong recommendations, research, and work experience (along with a strong graduate school finish) to pull me through.

I completed all of my secondaries with the exception of Brown and Wake Forest mid-August.
My application was verified near the end of July (turn in that app to AMCAS as soon as possible!!!)
Graduate GPA > 3.7 in Biological Sciences Masters Program
My science GPA does not include my other post school coursework---if it did it would be like a 3.45 something.

Second author on a paper to be published. First author by the beginning of next fall.
I am interested in cancer disparities research from both a narrative perspective as well as a lab bench perspective.
