This is a quick Summary of my clinical experiences, ECs, and volunteer work. I pretty much pulled this straight from my AACOMAS app so if any of it sounds lame that is why.

Clinical Experiences

  • EMT-B

  • St. Francis Hospital and Health Services: Preformed duties in the emergency department and mental health services as a technician. Using my EMT-B license I gave direct patient care and was able to provide assistance. In my experience in the emergency department I worked with and observed three osteopathic physicians regularly.

  • Shadowing: Roughly 80 hours of Family Practice Shadowing

In addition, in the Spring of 2009 I brought the event "Walk A Mile in Her Shoes" to campus. This event was a philanthropy that raised money for the battered women's shelter of the Maryville, MO area. This was the first year that this event took place and over seven hundred dollars was raised from this event.
